THE THINKING

Brisbane Airport Corporation celebrates the festive season by launching ‘7 Days of Christmas Giveaways’.

XCOM designed and developed the campaign with a sophisticated, simple to enter, mobile-friendly acquisition campaign that gave entrants an opportunity to win awesome daily prizes. The campaign also encouraged social sharing via Facebook and email which gave bonus entries into each draw.

Up for grabs was 7 prizes worth over $5,000 including shopping sprees and travel vouchers.

OBJECTIVES

Over the two-week campaign, Brisbane Airport Corporation wanted to raise their retailers' presence within the airport and to build their subscriber database to the Brisbane market by giving away over $5,000 in prizes.

SOLUTION

The microsite has a clean christmas in Queensland feel featuring large hero imagery, plenty of open space while highlighting the Brisbane Airport's retailers and daily prizes.

The campaign was a success in growing brand awareness and email subscription while delivering a positive experience for Brisbane Airport Corporation.

  • 32% Increase in Subscriber Database
  • 35% of entrants were new subscribers
  • 45% number of shares to entrants
